This project started as three tiny pages I made for myself. I later realized that many people do not want the biggest file platform. They want something they can open, use, and leave.
Every file stays inside the browser. To keep it fast, I left out accounts, history, and cloud sync. Very large files can still feel slow on mobile, which is the clearest limitation today.
Next I am filling out format support, but I do not plan to turn it into a complicated subscription product.

What this test actually tells us
First-draft speed only tells you whether a tool can start. The second revision, mobile behavior, empty states, and long-term maintenance decide whether it belongs in a real workflow.
This kind of same-brief test is genuinely useful. I would also track the time needed for a second revision, because a fast first draft does not always save time overall.
That matches my experience. The meaningful difference usually appears in responsive behavior and data states, not the first screen.
